Artists’ Biographies
Edward Kay (Born 1980, England) graduated from The Royal Academy in 2005. The artist had a solo show at Studio Voltaire in 2010. He has also been included in a number of exhibitions including HOTEL, London: Dicksmith Gallery, London; Light&Sie Gallery, Dallas; Engholm Engelhorn Galerie, Vienna; Chung King Project, Los Angeles and Bloomberg Space, London. Kay lives and works in London.
Hilary Lloyd (Born 1964, England) has made previous solo shows at Tramway, Glasgow (2009); Le Consortium, Dijon (2009); Kunstverein Muenchen, Munich (2006) and Chisenhale Gallery, London (1999). The artist is represented by Sadie Coles HQ, London and Galerie Neu, Berlin. Lloyd lives and works in London.
Wolfgang Tillmans (Born 1968, Germany) lives and works in London and Berlin. Major solo exhibitions include Serpentine Gallery, London (2010); Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin (2008); PS1, New York (2006) and Tate Britain, London (2003). Tillmans won the Turner Prize in 2000. The artist is represented by Maureen Paley, London, Andrea Rosen Gallery, New York, Galerie Daniel Buchholz, Berlin/Cologne Galerie, Regen Projects, Los Angeles, Chantel Crousel, Paris, Galería Juana de Aizpuru, Madrid, Wako Works of Art, Tokyo and sommercontemporaryart, Tel Aviv.
Sterling Ruby (Born 1972, Germany) lives and works in Los Angeles. Selected exhibitions include: MoMA, New York; ICA, Philadelphia (both 2009); GAMeC, Bergamo, Italy (solo) (2008-09); Bergen Kunsthall, Norway; The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (solo); Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing and The Drawing Center, New York (solo) (all 2008). Ruby is represented by Foxy Production, New York; The Pace Gallery, New York and Sprüth Magers, Berlin/London.
