Chris Evans has a close relationship with sculpture parks – so much so that his book, Magnetic Promenade and other sculpture parks is entirely devoted to these peculiar spaces whose function seems uncertain.
As a companion to the touring project organised by Studio Voltaire, the new publication is an illustrated book of fictional sculpture parks with contributions from:
Rita McBride and Glen Rubsamen
David Burrows and Simon O’Sullivan
Joanne Tatham & Tom O’Sullivan
Magnetic Promenade and other sculpture parks is a part of a National Touring Programme organised by Studio Voltaire, whose partners include International Project Space, Birmingham; Chapter Gallery, Cardiff and Outpost Gallery, Norwich.
Supported by Arts Council England and The Henry Moore Foundation. With kind support from Arts Council of Wales and STORE, London.
