Every Ocean Hughes in conversation with Catherine Wood

For this special event, Every Ocean Hughes is joined in conversation by Catherine Wood, Senior Curator, International Art (Performance), Tate, to discuss her new film commission One Big Bag.

Centering on a millennial death doula and her ‘mobile corpse kit’, One Big Bag is an immersive film installation that asks vital poetic, practical and political questions contributing to a necessary and growing debate around end of life practices.

Hughes will discuss her work with death doulas and her research in a field she describes as 'queer death', exploring self-determination, survival, and diverse kinship.
