Studio Voltaire plays an important role in the production of contemporary art through the provision of affordable artist workspace.

Our studios are currently closed whilst we undertake The Studio Voltaire Capital Project.

The Studio Voltaire Capital Project will significantly increase the amount and quality of support we can offer artists at a key stage in their careers. This transformative redevelopment, the most ambitious transition in our 25–year history, will provide 42% more affordable studio space for artists through the building of a new mezzanine level, directly addressing London’s shortage of affordable artist’s workspace.

Our existing 5,550 ft2 studio building will be completely renovated providing a range of high quality, light–filled studios to over 75 artists. We will also introduce a number of micro workspaces for artists who do not need a traditional studio, as well as with two live/work spaces to house visiting artists and curators.

Please subscribe to our newsletter for updates on the project and our studio application process.
